La Toya Jackson is dedicated to keeping brother Michael Jackson’s legacy alive, and she’s doing her part with a new Public Service Announcement in an ET exclusive. Read on for details…
La Toya is working with charities that Michael personally donated to and cared about, and she’s speaking out for AIDS Project L.A.
"I’m here to ask you to keep my brother Michael’s dream alive," says La Toya. "A dream where there’s no discrimination, a dream where people are not suffering from the HIV or AIDS virus. You can do that by donating your time and anything that you possibly can to AIDS Project L.A."

Perhaps birds of the same feather are meant to be together after all. After four months of very public displays of affection for the cameras, and the Hilton heiress referring to him as her “future husband” Doug Reinhardt and Paris Hilton, naturally split up. It seemed the reason for the sudden breakup was that Paris had grown bored, or was jealous of his flirting or thought he was just with her to be in the spotlight depending on which rumor you believe.
Apparently though all is forgiven and Doug and Paris have kissed and made-up and are back on as a couple again according to US Magazine. Truthfully I would feel sorry for any friend that Paris was dating (not including the one-night-stands) but her and Doug deserve each other.
Two Ohio police chiefs suspected of invading the home of a woman hired as a surrogate by ‘Sex and the City’ star, Sara Jessica Parker, have now been arrested on charges whose nature are so far unknown.
After the news broke in June, an Ohio-based Special Prosecutor was appointed to study allegations that the two men – Martin’s Ferry Police Chief, Barry Carpenter and Bridgeport’s Chief, Chad Dojack, broke into the surrogate’s home to steal personal data they could sell to a tabloid. The two men were booked at the Belmont County Jail on unspecified charges late Wednesday, then released pending further inquiries. No-one at the two officer’s stations would discuss the event, or release further details.
A representative for Harrison County’s Special Prosecutor, T. Shawn Harvey told the Huffington Post the two officers would face prosecution before a Grand Jury if the evidence his office was now engaged in collecting proved such action was needed.
The two accused were arraigned at Belmont County Court this morning, but people representing the judge hearing the case, John Solovan, refused any comment as the law states potential Grand Jury indictments cannot be disclosed until after those accused are arraigned.
In lighter news, the victim of the alleged home invasion presented Sarah Jessica, 44, and her husband, Matthew Broderick with two healthy twin girls on June 22nd – So not all of the news in this story is bad.
While some sources claim Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush broke up over the simple matter of busy schedules, other stories behind the relationship’s demise are far more sordid.
For example, was Kim receiving lewd text messages from Kanye West? Was Bush sleeping with another woman?
Yesterday, we cited the seemingly random accusation that Reggie was involved with a model while dating Kim. Supposedly, the months-long affair included rendezvous around the country, an arrangement Kardashian eventually discovered.
Now, Perez Hilton claims he’s identified Reggie’s other woman: say hello to stripper Carmen Ortega!
Hmmm… perhaps Reggie Bush really was cheating on Kim Kardashian with Carmen Ortega. The women do have something(s) in common!
Perez also describes Ortega as a “professional escort.”
Sounds fishy, no? Would Reggie Bush really need a professional escort? Especially when he was already dating Kim Kardashian?
Chime in with your thoughts – and then follow this article’s jump for a look at many more scantily-clad Carmen Ortega pictures…
Ortega claims she has inviting text messages and photos from Bush. Do you believe her?

Less than two months after she dumped him and locked him out, Paris Hilton has totally gotten back together with ex-boyfriend Doug Reinhardt!
“They are definitely happy again,” a source close to the couple reports.
On Monday, Doug Reinhardt, 23, posted on his Twitter page: “What an amazing weekend with my beautiful girlfriend. I love her so much!”
The day before: “Laying in bed watching SportsCenter with my girl.”
Doug’s probably overcompensating and making sure Paris, 28, doesn’t attack him for flirting with Kendhal Beal again. Whatever makes him happy …

Paris Hilton famously declared that she’d marry Doug Reinhardt – who dated Lauren Conrad on The Hills before moving on to the ho-tel heiress – last April.
“He’s going to be my husband,” she told E! “We’re best friends. It’s not like we just met. We’ve known each other over the past year. I was in a relationship before and we reconnected. I’m really in love and really happy.”
Their previous run was four months. We give it at least 2-3 more this time.
Kanye West did not try to take Michael Jackson’s crown as the King of Pop, he wrote on his blog Friday.
Various sites reported earlier that the hip-hop singer declared himself “the new King of Pop” on Scrape TV, weeks after Jackson died at the age of 50.
Relive Jackson’s most unforgettable moments.
He was quoted as saying: “It’s so sad to see Michael gone but it makes a path for a new King…

In yet another sad installment of the hesitant amble to stardom of Katherine Heigl, after being hosed by the critics for her plywood performance in ‘Ugly Truth’ and the focus of relentless whispers from both ‘Grey’s co-workers and friends for her uncaring attitude, it seems Seth Rogen and Jud Apatow, Katie’s co-star and director from her 2007 outing in ‘Knocked Up.’ are eager to join her long list of non-fans.
The comedic pair seem mightily peeved that Kate denounced the movie as ’sexist’ in a Vanity Fair interview at the time it came out, and they made their feelings quite clear yesterday on the Howard Stern show. In the Vanity piece, Kate had said the movie “paints women as shrews, while the men look lovable.” In reply, Seth critiqued Kate’s current outing in ‘Ugly Truth’;
“That movie looks like it really puts women on a pedestal,” he told Us magazine, with evident sarcasm, “I hear there’s a scene where she’s wearing underwear – with a vibrator in it? I fail to see how that’s ‘uplifting’ for women.”
But Judd was more empathetic about the ‘Vanity’ piece; “She was probably doing six hours of interviews, then just got tired and slipped a bit,” he suggested. Seth didn’t see it that way, “I didn’t slip and I was doing f-ing interviews all day too!”
But Judd recalls Katie’s time with the movie as remarkably different from what she describes, “We never had a problem while filming,” he remembers. “She could not have been cooler.” But he seems quite relaxed about Kate’s biting remarks. “You’d think at some point I’d get a call saying ‘Sorry, I was tired’….and the call never comes,’” he said.
For his part, Seth says he’s not hurt by the comments, as Kate has since gained quite a rep for running people down, “It’s not like we’re the only people she said some bat s*** crazy things about,” he said. “That’s kind of her bag now.”
In a further twist to the ongoing saga which has unfolded since the death of Michael Jackson on June 25, LAPD officers have now executed a search warrant to seize correspondence between Michael’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, and the Anschutz Entertainment Group [AEG] who were promoting his comeback concerts in London. But officers made it clear AEG were not the focus of these inquiries.
The warrant named seven doctors who treated Mr. Jackson, including Dr. Conrad Murray, and lists 19 false names Michael is said to have used to gain illegal prescriptions. Dr. Murray’s spokeswoman, Miranda Sevick, said Michael hired the Doctor in May at $150,000 a month, and he had no connection with AEG. While people working for AEG refused to make any comment at all.
According to court records, the warrant was focused on finding “shipping orders, distribution lists, and use records relating to the purchase, transfer, receiving and storage of Propofol.” Dr. Murray is known to have administered Propofol [a drug so powerful, it’s usually reserved for use in operating theaters] to Mr. Jackson on the night that he died.
According to LA Times reports, the LAPD has now upgraded their inquiry to a homicide case, and subpoenaed medical records and other paperwork from both Dr. Murray and numerous other doctors who were known to have been working with Jackson. The LA Coroner’s Office has said that a final toxicology report, which will show just what drugs he had taken on that fateful night – should finally be released sometime next week.
As if all that weren’t enough, on Monday, lawyers for Michael’s mom, Katherine, and two trustees of his estate, John G. Branca and John McClain – both longtime friends of the star – will ask a court to determine who has control of the singer’s vast empire. Katherine and Michael’s three children are currently the main beneficiaries, together with numerous charities to be chosen by the three plaintiffs – assuming they were able to reach a consensus.
With his own recordings, plus the rights to the Beatles back-catalog, and merchandising and publishing rights, Michael’s estate is said to be worth hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars. Mrs. Jackson wants to be made co-executor, along with the two men, plus detailed proof of the exact nature of the relationship between them and her son.
Lawyers for Branca and McClain are currently denying their clients are hiding such documents from Mrs. Jackson, and accusing her of trying to change Michael’s will to remove them from power. [And thus, all the money.]
If this sad, sordid story was a movie-of-the-week, no-one would watch. The case is ongoing and we’ll keep you informed.
