[HMG] –
Never one to let the grass grow over her feet, Rachel Weisz has just signed to join Daniel Craig and Naomi Watts in a spooky new thriller called ‘Dream House.’
The 39-year old Londoner, whom you’ll currently find at your local theater in Peter Jackson’s ‘The Lovely Bones,’ joined Daniel and Naomi in Toronto last Sunday to start work on the film.
The story revolves on a couple who move from the noise and grime of New York to a lovely new home in New England, only to find it was the scene of murder in which a mother and both of her children were killed.
Rachel plays a neighbor who knew all the victims.
Variety says there’s no date for release yet, but it should be ready to debut by Spring of next year.
Meantime, Rachel keeps pretty busy. After ‘Bones’ her next film is ‘The Whistleblower’ – an independent production in which she plays a woman who discovered her fellow UN peacekeepers were having sex with underage girls, and the UN’s own bosses had covered it up.
And the worst part of that is, it’s a true story…
